Explore, Shop, Buy, Give… Local Art
Supporting local art is important for both the community and the artist.
It is so important for the culture and economy of our town. We appreciate our resident customers and their continued support and welcome visitors to stop by and find a unique keepsake to remind them of their wonderful time in Georgetown. It’s a win-win-win for all: the city, the artist and our customers.
- The Experience
First you notice the big windows filled with colors and shapes as you are strolling down Austin Avenue. Do you dare enter? You step through the big glass door and discover visions of local culture; visions from artists living in Central Texas and manifested in the diverse art forms on display and for sale in the quiet little art gallery.
Are you drawn in by the bright poppies, yes there are poppies it is Georgetown. Or is it the whimsical watercolors, playful pottery, glistening glass, abstract acrylics, realistic renderings? The space is small but you don’t know where to look first.
After your initial lap around you realize you need to walk through again to see what you missed. The variety of styles, sizes, mediums, subject matter and materials at affordable pieces makes it difficult to decide which to buy. Do you buy for a gift or keep it for yourself?
